Behind-The-Scenes Of My Biggest Self-Love Manifestation


If you read this recent blog post about self-trust, then you know how important self-trust is to a successful self-love journey. In this blog post, I am going to talk about how I manifested patience after conquering self-trust.

I wasn't loving myself or manifesting anything until I started practicing patience. You might not think it is such a big deal, but that is pretty bad considering I started revolutionizing my self-love and actively using the Law of Attraction in 2015. That literally sucks!

But let me tell you, every day I woke up to actively adjust the way I loved myself. Once I realized that loving myself is a CONSCIOUS CHOICE that I have to continually make, I got to work.

So how did I manifest PATIENCE during my self-love journey?

Well, I had to ACCEPT that there are only a handful of things that I can actually control- the main one being myself. Yes, the world was falling apart around me, but patience taught me that better things were coming together for me if I just learned to ride the wave.

When you begin your self-love journey, you must realize that you are not chasing an end goal. The journey never ends because you will always be cycling into a better version of yourself.

Think about self-trust.

You have to be patient with your love & your surroundings if you are going to revolutionize your self-love. This journey isn't about rushing to worthiness but it is an exploration of self.

You are unearthing parts of your personality that you have never tapped into.

Don't rush. Realize that you ran from something just to get here in this moment. Take your time to really give yourself what you need when it feels like things are going really good and when it seems like things are going really bad.

Patience is saying okay when you really aren't okay. Maybe you aren't okay with what is happening around you, but you have enough self-trust to say, "OKAY, I GOT THIS!"

Yes, that is all I did to manifest an overwhelming amount of patience. 


1. Always Check-In With Yourself

By checking-in with yourself, you meet your feelings where they are at and you make room for powerful healing to take place in your life.  Being present with yourself and feeling what needs to be healed is what we all truly desire because it puts us in alignment with love.

In my favorite spiritual self-help book, "A New Earth: Awakening To Your Life Purpose" by Eckhart Tolle, he says: 

“Awareness is the greatest agent for change.” 

By participating in Daily Check-Ins with yourself, you become aware of the parts of yourself that need to be changed, like aspects of your shadow self.

Over time you become patient with those parts of yourself that do need to be changed. And you building up your confidence because you are accomplishing small goals daily.

Bonus Tip:  It's important that you get clear about your WHY when you begin revolutionizing your self-love. No matter how many e-courses and freebies you download, you will never know true self-love if you don't take the time to check-in.

2. Accept the bad stuff

Start by affirming you and the importance of your life, then accept that the world is (kinda) messed up.  

Luckily, you don't have to take part in the antics. You just have to be okay with whatever is going on in your world. You have the ability to change it by changing your thoughts about it. Acceptance is about gaining a wider perspective and shifting your focus to what you can do.

Acceptance is where the real magic begins.


Bonus Tip: Write a list of all the things you can control and the things you cannot. Whenever you feel like you are losing control of your life, look at your list and regroup yourself. Know that everything is going to be okay and go forth to improve upon what you can control.

3. Keep Pushing

We live in a society that thrives on instant gratification. Again, you must realize that your self-love journey is not about obtaining an instant goal; it's about obtaining long-term happiness. 

There will be healing and vulnerable moments. It is all about how you choose to look at it. You control your world because you have the power to control your thoughts. Either you let your thoughts tell you that you can't do it or you trust that you can.

Your vulnerability isn't about being a victim of your mood, but it is about finding the power to be and feel what is being brought to the surface. Once you are able to feel what is going on with you keep pushing through it. Don't let the delays or the crappy moments make you stop. 

You have got to check-in, accept, and keep pushing.

Bonus Tip: Continue to push through, even when you feel like giving up. Find at least 1 task that you enjoy doing and do it every day. Do it when you feel like crying and do it when you can't stop smiling. By doing this, you will begin to rely more on your own happiness to get you through and you will find more ways to practice patience with yourself when you want to give up.
